Этюд настолько хорош, что этюд Г. Каспаряна не воспринимается в качестве предшественника. З. Бирнов составил этюд, у которого содержание богаче. Причем намного.
Crazy amount of content considering that this is rook vs. bishop miniature. Highly aestetic Black counterplay with 5…d5. Certainly in my top 5 of all time best studies.

Смотрел сто раз, а заметил только сейчас. На первом ходу есть попытка с жертвой слона для смещения ладьи: 1. Kb5? c1=Q 2. Rg7+ Be7! 3. Rxe7+ Kd8 4. a8=Q+ Kxe7=.

Good work. It is surprising that nobody has tried to improve the initial position before.
