Я, как и Вы, считаю, что этюд «неординарный», но я хочу, чтобы этюд был НОРМАЛЬНЫМ!!!

This is how a 4 point study should look like! A complex miracle that shouldn’t exist, in a study with a natural initial position.
Having matching piece distribution (BN vs BN) already justifies the presence of the black knight. In such cases, it seems to be a minor flaw to have the piece unmoved or/and captured.
The situation would be much worse with a black rook. Not just because of the higher value of the piece, but the rook would be like an alien among those minor pieces.
I side with the current World Champion against the Mastermind and prefer the original version. The hanging knight on f6 strikes me as more ugly than capturing the knight on d5. Since pinning, attacking and defending this piece is at the center of the play, I don’t think the capture is as bad as in studies where the captured piece has only an auxiliary function (e.g., some random intro tactic). Here it has a thematic function and so I think it is not a big problem.

Here an unmoved piece is captured as well, but to be honest, I don’t care. If the crime is not noticed it is probably not serious.
